Kandi moved to Chico, California in June1998 to attend Butte Community College and has resided there ever since. She was active in Phi Theta Kappa, an International Honors Society, as a charter member and an officer for all three years. Kandi also held officer positions in the Agriculture Ambassadors club. Being active in her schooling has proven that Kandi is responsible, dedicated to her work, and is a team player. Kandi is originally from the agricultural community of Williams, California. She comes from a family who has farmed for many generations, which has also provided her with the qualities she possesses today.
